INCORPORATION AND MANAGEMENT
The KKIP Investors Council (Majlis Pelabur-Pelabur KKIP) or KIC (in short) was registered under Registrar of Society on 20th February 2012.
KIC was incorporated with 10 founding members, consist investors in Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park. The current members are:-

Note: Two of the founding members ie Unimekar Metal Sdn Bhd and KKIP Power Sdn Bhd had offered themselves
to be an ordinary contributor or supporter to the activities to be organized by KIC.
The management of the KIC is by the appointed Executive Committee (EXCO) which initially placed under the stewardship of the founding members who has automatically became the Executive Committee Members.
The EXCO members are elected during Annual General Meeting (AGM) for a 2 years term.

OBJECTIVES OF KIC
The KIC aims to be a platform for the following objects:-
- To promote, foster, support, represent and protect the interests of the Council members;
- To liaise and co-operate with the local authorities, developer, relevant Government bodies, and other associations and to make representations on the needs and requirements of the Council members;
- To promote the products and/or services of the Council members in KKIP;
- To co-operate with any company, institution, society or association having objectives wholly or in part similar to those of the Council and to procure from and communicate to such company, institution, society or association such information as may be likely to advance the objectives of the Council;
- To collect, obtain, publish and disseminate information relating to industries and all other matters connected therewith which may be of interest, benefit or service to the Council members, provided that such publication shall be in compliance with the statutory requirements, if any, for the time being in force;
- To promote good relationship between the Council members and businesspersons with interests relevant to the Council;
- To facilitate and organize social and sports events to enable workers and business owners in KKIP to interact and participate in;
- To promote an environmentally conscious society amongst the Council members operating and residing in KKIP;
- To inform, educate, disseminate information or advertise in whatever medium whenever necessary and expedient to promote the image and enhance the marketability and use of the products manufactured or assembled or services provided by Council members in KKIP, locally and internationally;
- To facilitate networking by providing an effective platform for discussion, sharing of experiences, soliciting constructive ideas, exchange of information and developing relationships in order to provide and promote value added business relationships for Council members;
- To act as active platform for members to come forward to voice out and to protect the rights as investors or business operators;
- To do all such things as may be deemed incidental or conducive for the furtherance of any or all of the above objects.
