Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Sabah Environment Protection Department (EPD) and K.K.I.P. Sdn. Bhd. was signed on the 15th of December, 2022.

The MoU signing ceremony was signed by Mr Vitalis J. Moduying, Director of Sabah Environment Protection Department and Mr Lawrence Kimkuan, Group Chief Executive Officer of K.K.I.P. Sdn. Bhd. The signing was witnessed by Mr John Anak Rampai, Deputy Director, Department of Environment and Management team of Sabah Environment Protection Department and K.K.I.P. Sdn. Bhd. With the signing of the memorandum, K.K.I.P. Sdn. Bhd and EPD Sabah will carry out activities to raise awareness of the environment among KKIP Investors and to implement self-compliance on the Environmental Conditions Agreement and Reduction Declaration to ensure that the environment within KKIP vicinity is always preserved.
